Minister Miles Hendricks Peeples
Minister Miles Hendricks Peeples, 76, of Ellijay, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017.
He was born July 24, 1941, in Fulton County, to the late Horace Eugene and Sarah Pauline Garner Peeples. He was a school teacher, a Georgia Bulldog fan, and a minister in the Church of Christ for over 50 years.
He is preceded in death by brother, Keith Peeples; and nephews, Ryan Peeples and Troy Peeples.
He is survived by children and spouses, David and Monique Peeples, Mark and Holly Peeples, Rachel Peeples, DVM, all of Savannah, Diane and Mark Wilson, of Ellijay; brother, Neal Peeples, of Fayetteville; eight grandchildren, Kyle Peeples, Megan, Hailey, and Jaxon Wilson, Hannah Peeples, Brayden Peeples, Jack Peeples and Kate Peeples.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, from the Ellijay Church of Christ with Minister Butch Jones officiating.
Interment will be in the Church of Christ Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David Peeples, Mark Peeples, Mark Wilson, Neal Peeples, Eric Peeples, Kyle Peeples, Cary Hanlon and David Green.

The family will meet with friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at the funeral home.
