Mary Nell Woodring Logan

Mary Nell Woodring Logan, 92, of Ellijay, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020. 

She was born May 2, 1928, to the late Lee Terrel and Pearl Mae Key Woodring in Ellijay.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and graduated from Ellijay High School in 1946. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by husband, Kimsey R. Logan; brother, Alvin Woodring; and sister, Kathleen Woodring Martin. 

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and the Rev. Norman Gibbs, of Ellijay; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Lisa Logan, of Ellijay; grandchildren, Heather and Carl Day, Brandon and Rachel Gibbs, Mark and Jamie Gibbs, Lee and Jesse Logan; great-grandchildren, Logan Lifsey, Gabe Lifsey, Gia Lifsey, Ezra Rose Day, James Day, Caroline Day, Kathryn Day, Blair Gibbs, Brody Gibbs, Cali Gibbs, Boston Palmer and Everly Gibbs; and sister, Dorothy Woodring Painter, of Dalton. 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Norman Gibbs, the Rev. Brian Clayton and brother Alan Davenport officiating. 

Pallbearers were Greg Martin, Roger Woodring, Barry Woodring, Brandon Gibbs, Mark Gibbs, Jimmy Logan, Danny Logan and Lee Logan.
