Mary Helen Sutton

Mrs. Mary Helen Sutton, 84, of London, Ky., died Friday, Dec. 30, 2022.

She was born May 3, 1938, in Ellijay, to Leslie Moore and Elise Wright Moore. She was a member of East Pittsburg Baptist Church and was a loving mother and homemaker.

She is preceded in death by husband, J.L. Sutton Jr.; sister, Faye Moore Whitener; and brother, Kenneth Moore.

She is survived by children, Terry Sutton and wife, Kelly, Diane Sutton Carnes and husband, Paul, all of London, Ky.; stepchildren, Diane Sutton Adams, of Sautee, Johnny Sutton and wife, Brenda, Lynn Sutton Hogan and husband, Arlen, all of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Teresa Moore, of Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Henson officiating.

Interment was in Yukon Cemetery.
