Marilyn Janet Adams

Ms. Marilyn Janet Adams was born Feb. 9, 1953, in Oakdale, La. She passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022.

She is preceded in death by parents Lodie Adams Sr. and Maggie Lurline Simpson Adams; and brother, Lodie Lynn Adams.

She is survived by sister, Lou Anne Fuglaar, of Pineville, La.; and brothers, Cecil Ray Adams and wife, Cynthia Spain Adams of White, Louis Ray Adams and wife, Anita Silk Adams, of Ellijay; sister-in-law, Connie Daigle Adams, of St. Francisville, La.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed her life in Louisiana and in Ellijay. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ellijay.

The family will plan a celebration of life service at a later date.
