Laura ‘Laurie’ Marie Linville

Mrs. Laura “Laurie” Marie Linville, 61, of Talking Rock, passed away in the early hours of Friday, Sept. 30, 2022.

She was born in Midlothian, Ill., and spent the majority of her life living in the beautiful north Georgia area of Talking Rock with her husband and sons.

She married the love of her life, Patrick Linville, Nov. 7, 1981.

She is survived by husband, daughter and three sons.

Daughter, Rachael Westlake, 44, has two children ages 26 and 13, and resides in Plant City, Fla.

Son, Adam Linville, 38, is married to Carrie Linville, and they live in Crandall and have two daughters age 22 and 17.  Joel Linville, 36 years old and significant other, Jennifer reside in Talking Rock and have two sons age 5 and 4. Cody Linville, 31 years old, and fiancée Michelle Bayless also reside in Talking Rock.

She had the most incredible capacity for love and compassion for all those around her, including, and especially, animals. She is also survived by her beloved canine children, Snoopy, Cuddles, Tinker and Spot; as well as her feline daughter, Kali.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Adam Linville, Joel Linville, Cody Linville, Matt Silver, Mike Noah and Carrie Linville.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.   

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family or Bernhardt Funeral Home, 163 River St., Ellijay, GA 30540, in memory of Mrs. Laura “Laurie” Marie Linville.
