Mr. John Richard Sapp, 76, of Talking Rock, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, surrounded by his wife and daughters. 

He was born to James Walter and Jacquetta Mae Sapp Sept. 24, 1944, in Springfield, Mo. 

He is survived by loving wife of 57 years, Rebecca E Sapp; daughters, Donna M. Phillips, of Buford, and Linda K. (Jason) Fitts, of Jasper; sister, Jacquetta L. (Charles) Yedinak, of North Fort Myers, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members. 

He is preceded in death by parents, James Walter and Jaquetta Mae Sapp; brother, James Walter Sapp Jr.; and daughter, Sherry Lee Turner.

He had a passion for nature and photography. He combined the two hobbies to create many amazing images. He also had a life-long love for playing tennis. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

A service and internment was held at Milton Fields in Milton.
