Jacqueline Cook Milam, 86, of Blue Ridge, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019.

She was born Aug. 8, 1933, in Cliftondale, to the late J.R. Cook and L.E. Pierce Cook. 

She was currently attending Ridge Community Church. She worked as a parent coordinator at Fannin County Headstart for a number of years. 

She is preceded in death by son, Robert Riley Milam.

She is survived by husband of 64 years, Bobby C. Milam; children, J. Philip (Lisa) Milam, of Buford,  Joy Milam Hice, of Ellijay, and Lynn Milam (Anthony) Hughes, of Ball Ground; 

Grandchildren, Alexandra Nicole Milam, Christina Grace Milam, both of Buford, Cole Milam Hice and Riley Laurens Hice, both of Ellijay, Hannah Hughes Duran, of Dawsonville, and Emily Claire Hughes, of Ball Ground; 

Great-grandchildren, Hayden Hughes, Luke Duran and Collin Duran; brother, Jean (Melinda) Cook, of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews and other special family and friends.

Memorial services were held at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2019, from Ridge Community Church with Dr. Chan Mitchell officiating. 

Music was by Jeff Higgins.
