Houston Lester Payne

Mr. Houston Lester Payne, 87, of Marietta, died Friday, June 17, 2022.

He was born March 18, 1935, to the late Samuel Lester and Lillian Odell Poe Payne.

He worked as an executive personnel manager for Arrow Shirt Company and retired after 35 years.

He enjoyed traveling with his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by wife of 56 years, Louella Brookshire Payne.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Tracie and Brett Lawler, of Woodstock; granddaughters, Taylor Nichols and Carlee Nichols.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at the Logan Funeral Home pavilion with Minister Butch Jones officiating.

Interment was in the Oak Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
