Mrs. Harriet A. Berman, 80, passed away peacefully Monday, July 11, 2022. She was born in Denmark, S.C., Jan. 26, 1942, to the late Paul G. “Pete” Andrews and Oneal Helms Andrews.

She worked for AT&T for 26 years in the administrative services department.

After retirement, she lived in Ellijay for over 25 years, where she was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church.

She was an active member of the Ellijay Lions Club, where she participated in various service activities, such as Special Friends, White Christmas, and the Apple Festival every year. She was also a member of the Apple Country Quilt Guild. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Due to health reasons, she moved to Newnan to be close to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by wonderful children, Greg Dailey (Donna), of Whitesburg, Michelle Padgett (Ed), of Jackson; brother, Larry Andrews (Connie), of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Christy Martin (Shane), Cody Cooper (Nicole), Nicky Stacey (Thad), Haley Richardson (Royce); great-grandchildren, Kolton, Finleigh and Fischer Martin, Ava Stacey, Jaymes Richardson; and nephew, David Andrews.

Those we love don’t go away; they fly beside us every day.

Memorial services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022, in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with David Smedley officiating.
