Frances Mae Shipman Stanley

Mrs. Frances Mae Shipman Stanley, 74, of Talking Rock, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at her residence.

She was born April 4, 1948, in Jasper, to the late John Burton Shipman and Maebell Boling Shipman. She was a housekeeper and a member of Welcome Valley Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by brother, John Reed Shipman; and son, Joseph Burton Stanley.

She is survived by husband, Dave Stanley; daughters and sons-in-law, April and Jeff Welch and Faith and Zeb McAllister; five grandchildren, Adam (Haleigh) Strickler, Allison Strickler, Abigail Wright, Ava Wright and Fiona McAllister.

Funeral services were held at noon Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. William Fawcett and the Rev. Rudy Tribble officiating.

Interment was in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Bartow County.

Pallbearers were Zeb McAllister, Jeff Welch, Adam Strickler, Marvin Shipman, Cameron Holguin and Arnold Shipman.

Honorary pallbearers were Allison Strickler, Abigail Wright, Ava Wright and Fiona McAllister.
