Her parents were forced to have her attend Hitler’s schools. She and her mother were forced out of Liegnitz by the Russian army and she never saw her father again.

She and her mother had to move several times in Germany to avoid enemy troops. She met her husband Julio in Munich, Germany. They married and he brought her and her mother to the USA. He was a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army and they traveled the world extensively.

For 32 years the family lived in Key West and Miami. She had a deep love for animals but especially loved cats, when she wasn’t enjoying time with friends and family she loved gardening, she was an avid history buff, and  loved any opportunity to learn something new.

At the age of 50 she earned her associates degree in arts. She worked occasionally baking European pastries and cakes for nearby restaurants but was namely a full-time devoted and loving wife and mother. She was a warm, kind, caring women who loved and welcomed all.

If you were lucky enough to know her you knew she always had cookies available for sharing. It was just one of the many memories that loved ones shared of her.

Although her life was marked with loss; Elisabeth remained happy, optimistic, loved others and was also thankful and grateful toward her family, friends and caregivers. She will surely be loved and missed by all who knew her.
