Mr. Douglas Crooke, 57, of Ellijay died Saturday, May 13, 2017.
He was born Oct. 27, 1959, in Pickens County to Shirley Evans Crooke and the late Farrell Crooke. He was a 1978 graduate of Gilmer High School, worked for Pye Kia of Dalton and was a member of the Clear Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by mother, Shirley Evans Crooke, of Ellijay; daughters, Haley Crooke and Jessica Crooke, both of Ellijay; sister and brother-in-law, Sherri and Tom Hulsey, of Ellijay; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Clear Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Dotson and the Rev. Scott Watkins officiating.
Music was by Rhonda and Herman Davis and Inez Jones.
Pallbearers were Terry Hensley, Joe Farist, Smitty Dotson, Cole Farist, Danny Wilson and Tommy Inglesby.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
