Dale L. Hunter

Mr. Dale L. Hunter, 58, of Ellijay, died Friday, May 8, 2020.

He was born Aug. 15, 1961, in Rock Hill, S.C., to the late Tom and Lola Mooney Hunter. He was a graduate of Gilmer High School, and Gainesville Tech, and was employed by Excel Technologies. He was a member of Ellijay Church of Christ. 

He is preceded in death by brother, Jeffery Hunter.

He is survived by wife, Angie Stephens Hunter; daughters, Aby Burnett, of Ellijay, Stephanie Silva, of San Diego, Calif., Whitney Hunter, of Ellijay; brother, Tommy Hunter; sister, Beth O’Donnell, of Ellijay; mother-in-law, Helen Stephens, of Ellijay and brothers-in-law, Richard Stephens, Mark Stephens and Tracy Stephens, all of Ellijay; grandchildren, Dean Hunter, Carly Ramey, Chikoa Ramey, Braydi Burnett, Ayden Burnett, Kye Burnett, Lily Silva, Robert Silva and Javier Silva.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2020, in the Ellijay Church of Christ Cemetery, with Minister Butch Jones officiating. 

Music was by Barry Kingsley. 

Pallbearers were Nathan Burnett, Larry Mulkey, Richard Stephens, Tommy Hunter, Patrick Powell and Mike Plott.
