In loving memory
Mr. Crate Hollis Weaver, 65, of Ellijay, died Friday, April 22, 2022.
He was born in Gilmer County Nov. 21, 1956, to the late Crate and Lexie Weaver.
He was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Tickanetly Primitive Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by brother, Herbert Weaver; and sister, Cathy Hyatt.
He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Hollie and John Davis, of Ellijay; sons, Matthew Weaver and Aaron Weaver, both of Ellijay; brother, Hugh Weaver, of Ellijay; sisters, Joyce Williams and Doris Rutledge, both of Dalton, Dorothy Weaver and Judy Wright, both of Ellijay; and grandchildren, Rylan Davis, Lexxi Weaver, Piper Davis and Lacci Weaver, all of Ellijay.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2022, from the Tickanetly Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Kelly Smith officiating.
Interment was in the Tickanetly Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Scott Weaver, Jason Weaver, Doug Hyatt, Michael Hyatt, Zachary Wright and Joe Williams.
Honorary pallbearers were John Davis, Nick Rutledge, Tommy Williams, Jacob Wright and L.E. Parks.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
