Cody Wess Garland

Mr. Cody Wess Garland,  34, of Ellijay, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019.

He was born Feb. 13, 1985, in Pickens County, to Ben and Marianne Garland. He worked for North Georgia Millwright and was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by wife, Mary Hatchett Garland; children: Summer Garland, Cade Garland and Jaxon Garland; parents, Ben and Marianne Garland, of Jasper; brother and sister-in-law, Judd and Tara Garland, of St. Vincent, Minn.; sister and brother-in-law, Harvest and Brian Lambert, of Ellijay; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herman and Judy Griggs, of Ellijay; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, from the Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Ellington officiating.

The family will meet with friends after the service at the church.
