Mr. Buford R. Holeman, 82, of Ellijay, died Monday, March 16, 2020.

He was born April 8, 1937, in Danielsville, to the late Fred and Naomi Hooper Holeman. He was an auto-body repairman, member of the Center Hill Baptist Church in Loganville and a member of the Loganville Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by wife, Alice Holeman; son, Charles Albert Holeman, of Corinth, Tenn.;  daughters, Cynithia Lynn Emerson, of Cumming, Cheryl Ann Tanner, of Alabama, Susan Marie Frazee, of Ellijay; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Fred Holeman; sisters, Tally Williams, Zelma Middlebrook, both of Danielville and Francine Exner, of Newnan.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Pat Shelton officiating. 

Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery with military rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
