Bobby David Baker

Mr. Bobby David Baker, 50, of Ellijay, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 23, 1971, in Pickens County, to the late Robert Jack Baker and Lillie Baker Fowler. He was a volunteer firefighter.

He is preceded in death by brother, Robert Lee Baker Jr.; and niece, Monica Morgan.

He is survived by wife, Lorraine Renee Baker; son, Dylon Baker, of Ellijay; daughters, Chelsea (Sean) Nation, of Alabama, and Destiny Stanley; sisters, Darlene Morgan and Margie Baker (Michael Coffey); grandchildren, Adam Nation, Oliver Nation, Patrick Nation, Ruby Nation, Kylee Copeland, Harlee Copeland and Ardaeyah Stanley; nephews, Brady Morgan, Zachary Leidner, and Josh Leidner; niece, Debbie Mullinax; and great-nephews, Benjamin Mulinax and Caleb Mulinax.

Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Wave officiating.

Interment was in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Donations can be made to the funeral home to help with the final funeral expenses.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
