Bill ‘Rocky’ Stone

Mr. Bill ‘Rocky’ Stone, 76, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019.

He was born Aug. 16, 1943, in Suwanee, to the late Willie Franklin and Mary Jean Howell Stone. He worked in production for Kraft Foods and enjoyed league bowling.

He is preceded in death by daughter, Amy Stone; brothers, Larry Stone and Ray Stone; and daughter-in-law, Liesa Stone.

He is survived by  wife, Carol Stone; children, Lara Stone and Ryan Stone, Julie and Shawn Flowers, all of Ellijay; grandchildren, Joshua Flowers, Caitlin Flowers, Abigail Flowers and Tori Stone; great-grandchildren, Jericho Flowers and Keegan Flowers; siblings, Mary Stone, Joyce Stone, both of Winder, Jones Lee Stone, of Loganville and Benjamin Stone, of Texas.

Memorial services are being planned.
