Betty Ann Johnson

Mrs. Betty Ann Johnson, 80, of Ellijay, died Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Kennestone Hospital.

She was born July 31, 1941, in Cumming, to the late Ernest Sosebee and Myrtle Grorogan Sosebee.

She was a housewife and a member of Beaver Ruin Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by husband, Jack D. Johnson; daughter, Debbie Sudderth; sister, VZ Barrett; brother, Bobby Sosebee, and son-in-law, Kenneth Lovett.

She is survived by daughters, Wanda Lovett and Mona Garner; brother, Cecil Sosebee; sisters, Mary Edith Carnes of Cumming, Vantive Johnson, of Alto, and Linda Pittman, of Flowerly Branch; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis James officiating.

Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Travis Lovett, Austin Garner, Dennis James and Jackie Garner Hans.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
