Mrs. Shirley Jean Bradley Ledford
Mrs. Shirley Jean Bradley Ledford, 79, of Cherry Log, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at the Tranquility at Kennesaw Hospice.
She was born June 8, 1938, in Ellijay, to the late Ed Bradley and Edith Hannah Watts Bradley. She and her husband owned and operated the Dairy Queen in Conyers, and she also worked for many years in the cafeteria at Ellijay Primary School. She loved spending time with her family, crocheting and working on word puzzles.
She is preceded in death by siblings, Martha Wilson and Eddie Bradley.
She is survived by husband of 64 1/2 years, Gerald Felton Ledford Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Charles Cammarata, of Gainesville, Linda and Robert Cooley Sr., of Sparta, Geraldine and Michael Dean Sr. and Beverly and Ricky Knight Sr., all of Conyers; sons and daughter-in-law, Gerald Ledford Jr., of McDonough, and James Edward and Tara Ledford, of Cherry Log; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Bobbie Coker, of Tennessee; brother, Tommy Pankey, of Tennessee; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene and Jane Ledford, of Blue Ridge.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Butch Jones officiating.
Interment followed in the Boardtown Church of Christ Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ricky Knight Jr., Greg Pitts, Michael Dean Jr., Jonathan Dean, Wyatt Ledford and Robby Blan.
