Larry Donald Walker
Mr. Larry Donald Walker, 75, of Ellijay, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 11, 1941, in Lawrenceville, to the late Wachel Woodrow and Mable Hewatt Walker. He was a member of Juno Baptist Church, was a retired truck driver for Pickens County and also worked at L & W Limestone.
He was a true outdoorsman who loved to fish and work his land.
He is preceded in death by sister, Linda Walker; and brother, Jerry Walker.
He is survived by wife of 57 years, Runelle Holman Walker; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Leonard Bailey, of Acworth; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Robin Walker, of Jefferson; grandchildren and in-law, Erinn and Rick Giblin, Caleb Walker and Ryan Bailey; great-grandchildren, Annistyn Giblin and Brantley Giblin; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Bud Bragg, of Sugar Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Dot Walker, of Rydal.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, from the Juno Baptist Church in Dawsonville with the Rev. Mickey Wheeler, the Rev. Brody Hughes and the Rev. Tommy Weldy officiating.
Music was by Vicky Turner and Eva Reece.
Interment followed in the Juno Baptist Church Cemetery.
