Kyle Watson Barrett

Mr. Kyle Watson Barrett, 61, of Ellijay, died Friday, July 15, 2022, with his wife by his side.

He was born Oct. 12, 1960, in Marietta, to Ernest Watson Barrett and Jacqueline Knight Barrett.

He attended Mercer University and Kennesaw State University, graduating with a B.S. in accounting.

He was a homebuilder and real-estate broker his entire professional life and took great pride and pleasure in his work.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and will forever be missed.

He is survived by wife, Sharon Stover Barrett; daughter, Megan Collins; granddaughter, Charlotte Collins; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Chuck Allen; and niece, Kristin Allen.

Honoring his request, no formal service will be held.

The family will host a celebration of his life at a later date.
