In loving memory
Mr. Jimmy “Shorty” Sheffield, 71, of Ellijay, died Sunday, May 15, 2022, at CHI Memorial Hospital.
He is preceded in death by parents, Hollis and Geneva Sheffield; brother, Butch Sheffield; sister, Shirley Elizabeth Sheffield; and grandson, James Adam Sheffield.
He is survived by wife, Judy Sheffield; sons, James Travis (Joshlyn) Sheffield, Casey (Janet) Sheffield, Chad Sheffield, Brent Sheffield, of Canton, and Nathan Sheffield (Haley Ford); daughter, April (Alex) Sheffield; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncle and aunt.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from the chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with the Rev. Brent Sheffield and the Rev. Thomas Wheeler officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at South Canton Funeral Home.
