Church says thank you to emergency workers

Donna Carlsen, left, and Sylvia Negri, right, were among the members of Ellijay Hope Lutheran Church who put together barbecue plates last week at a special lunch for the county’s emergency response personnel. Hope Lutheran wanted to show its appreciation to local fire, police and 911 employees after a recent successful response to a car accident that involved a church member.
