From Staff Reports

Jan Day, director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Three Rivers, has been selected as one of 10 finalists in the 2014 Champions of Care Challenge sponsored by Health Mart Community. The person representing a nonprofit who receives the most online votes by Sunday, March 30, will win $30,000 grant for their organization.
To “Vote for Jan” go to healthmartcommunity.com and cast your ballot by clicking on her link. Voters can also watch a one-minute video of the local club’s activities, including their quest to break into the Guinness Book of World Records.
Voters can cast a vote once every 16 hours per each email address they claim. A vote for Jan Day could mean $30,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs here in Gilmer County.
“Thank you to everyone who voted this past week — we ask you to continue voting for us,” Day said. “We’ve made it to the second and final round, and we need your help to make this a reality for our Boys & Girls Club!”
