The Georgia Forestry Commission will be accepting sealed bids for a timber sale located on the Rich Mountain WMA in Gilmer County on May 29th, 2013. Bids will be opened at 11:00 am at the Georgia Forestry Commission's Gilmer County Unit Office. Timber being sold is located on 115 acres with approximately 3,500 tons of pine products. Time period to harvest and remove the timber will be twelve months.
